Default Linen Gray Metallic 928-701-176-03

Can anyone out there post a picture of this paint code with this part number. I'm trying to see exactly what my original paint code sticker should look like. The attached photo is all I have to go on, and I've seen a couple of variations of this label (928-701-167-03, and 928-701-167-04). So, if anyone out there has the 03 version please let me know. It's on a 1989 S-4.

Thanks for the info. However, through previous searches I've seen the photos your link took me to. My part number ends with 03, and I'd like to try to find one like it. On most of the photos I've looked at so far, the part number ends with 04. I just can't seem to find a picture of a Linen Grey Metallic paint code sticker on a 928 S-4 that ends with 03.

The very first sticker in the photo in post #7 of the linked thread shows the -03 part number sticker. The sticker p/n gets you the correct border style, font, and layout for the text. The p/n isn't specific to one color AFAIK and the actual text content should be the same as the other p/n versions. The reproduction stickers from G1 Concepts seem to be quite true to the originals.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I saw that photo as well and I'm aware that a p/n isn't specific to a particular color. That first photo is a great photo, but those 3 stickers appear to be recreations. I'd like to see a legible original that's still affixed to a car, just to make sure I get one made as close to exact as I can.

So, you need something like this?

From an early 1989 S4.
