Default Paint Sticker

I own an '89 S4 that is painted linen metallic. Can anyone help me source the paint sticker that goes in the door jamb. Mine is completely worn away.
Thanks,
Ron

Ahhhh no paint sticker..... On man, so sorry to tell you but that 928 is now worthless. You Really need to sell that one to me asap. I've always Loved Linen Metallic. Had a 911 964 C2 cab in that color & it was a real head turner! Believe that was only a factory color from 89-91.

Ok, for your Paint Sticker, G1 Concepts in Canada can make one for you for $30. I had them make several for me & others here & in the 968 forum have so too.

Here's their info:

Here's the ones I had G1 do for me 18 mos ago, I still haven't put them on the cars. With the '91 S4 sold earlier this year, I no longer need its paint label. So if anyone is in need of a Gran Prix White label, I'd sell mine for $25 incl postage in CONTUS; outside of the lower 48, shipping is on you.

Thanks very much for the warm welcome and for the leads on the sticker. It's a great car. 5 speed, interior is in excellent condition. Has 107k miles but it looks like it has 40k. Paint is in super condition. Would I sell? Not sure but if someone wants a great S4 in a rare color, we can talk.

It would appear that I own the sister car to yours, Ron. Mine is Linen Metallic with Black leather interior. I owned the car in '95 thru '97, and recently stumbled back on it this year...and bought it back after 16 years. My VIN sticker, paint code sticker, catalyst sticker and bar code sticker all had seen better and more legible days.

I found an adhesive vinyl material on which you could print with a laser printer, and made my own stickers (using existing pieces as reference), except for the VIN sticker, which was done by a company in Texas. I'm debating whether to give a light coat of clear over the stickers to help preserve them...

It all came out great!

Wow, two 1989 Linen sharks in the state of VA, wonder how many total were made from '90-91? Know of a '90 that was last seen in Missouri about 5-6 yrs ago, Mike McLeod in Atlanta area owned for a while & I considered buying. But the clearcoat was fading fast on that one & so I passed & it sold twice in a short while I think. It was a match for my former 911 & had the Linen interior(off white), which looks really sharp, if you keep it pristine. There was also a non metallic Grey Linen exterior available, which looks almost cream in color. I've only ever seen pics of one that I considered buying from CA.

Hi Bob,
Great looking car. What's under the car cover next to it?

That would be the '96 F355 Berlinetta/gated 6 speed (red/saddle) that I recently sold after 5 years of ownership. Hell of a car and atop my bucket list, but the $7,500 major service every 3 years or 15k miles was sheer lunacy, and with memories and photos abounding, I can always say that I owned an F-car. BTW, (in my opinion) it is the best looking Ferrari berlinetta.

While I was making a paint code sticker for Ron, I was also diving into the top of the motor and beginning the long process of returning the cosmetics back to how they should appear. The stickers on my Bosch coils were just worn, and I put this together on my PC.

It's missing a few of the accents on the words, but unless you guys tell....
