Hmm, that color, wish I was in the market for one. 5-speed even. I could care less who it used to belong to.

The bubbling paint would have me worried.

I seriously considered bidding on this one and talked to the seller, but..

1. No Maint History except Porsche dealer stamps in the book which does not show any details and he could not tell me when the T belt/ W pump were changed.
2. Also he said that the clatch pedal was heavy due to after market pedal ???? Anyone heard of such a thing ?
3. Auction ends today but thier final check up done by the Porsche dealer is out tomorrow so can not provide me with any further info ....
4. $2000 non refundable deposit within 24 hours

LOOKS beautiful, though

Charlie Sheen is a stage name incidently. That's not his real name.

I may be wrong...but isn't it Carlos Estevez? Wouldn't that be on the title....?

Changing the timing belt and retensions should be marked in the book. It's on one of those pages in the back of the book.

oh people...why does it matter how often or when was the last timing belt done? It could have been replaced a million times, but last time it was done wrong, so it would fail soon despite the extensive history..

what matters is how it runs NOW...if all is good, just do the timing belt yourself and start your own history... I see way too many opportunities passing people by just because the car didn't come with a useless stack of paper from a past life

If you know which dealer serviced it, you can usually get the records printed out with a proof of ownership. That's what I did with my Saab after I purchased it at an auction. It turned out the car had full service history all done at the same dealer.

When the timing belt gear failed while the car was AT that dealer because of a rattle, and they had misdiagnosed it as a loud water pump, Saab kicked in generously and paid for the new heads, timing belt gear, etc, excpet for the last $1k. People say that Porsche would never be that generous, though...

I seem to recall he only owned it for a few months and couple thousand miles.
