Default Car Chasers

...bought an early Euro S tonight. Beautiful gold color, in good looking shape. An 80 I think. It had pasha interior and Jeff said that was how you can tell it's a Euro! He said US cars didn't come with that "psychodelic interior.
Jim - school that boy! Tell him the rear bumper cover foglight is a better way to tell. Anyway, great to see a shark. He paid $5200 for it. The seller was asking $6500. Looked beautiful.

Just watched the episode, was thinking that Meg would school Jeff on the 928 but it didn't happen.

Jim, off camera you got a call for advice right?

I have been working on the show since July....spent 18 weeks in Lubbock. All behind the camera. With little or no free time. Filming is 12 hours a day 6 days a week !
That 928 is a pretty nice car but sadly not an S engine....it gets sold in another episode. Jeff has had several 928s over the years and always remember the show is edited by people with ZERO car knowledge. So HOURS of footage becomes a few minutes of what they think is important, interesting, or entertaining.
I am Now back in California. I left Lubbock yesterday @ 10:00 A M stopped in New Mexico to play blackjack for about 1/2 an hour proceeded to the wild Horse Casino in Chandler AZ. got in another 4 hours of black jack left there at 3:15 A M and was home In Costa Mesa at 8:45 this morning. Yes I like to drive I am starting to think I should get some sleep pretty soon.

Are they going to do any follow up on the Gypsy Testarossa? or what happened with Perry?

Just came across the show on CNBC, wouldn't have thought they'd have a car show on that channel. Just figured I didn't get it here.

The testarossa got sold on one of the new episodes after a repaint, windshield change and some other work. There has been no mention about Perry's departure, they did get another mechanic though.

Perry is a very well know stunt man and stunt coordinator... did Water World, Fear Factor and many, many other shows. His skills are being used on what he does best....he ended up with a better offer in other words....
Great guy very talented perhaps too much so. ...I very much enjoyed his company. It was a fluke that he was available for the first two seasons. The network has the final say on the show since they pay for it !!
