Let me wander off on a tangent: I'm a member of a variety of forums. In order of best use of the English language, I would rank them as follows:
Rennlist 928 (best - congratulations!)
BMW G650GS (motorcycle)
Horn People (French horn, that is)
Photography (various)
Cayman, Planet-9 (members often ask about break pads - argh!)
I think 928 guys are handy and careful, and it shows - it seems most actually proof read their posts - thank you!

1978 Car of the Year press kit
I wanted to share this very cool piece of 928 history; the 1978 Car of the Year Press Kit. for anyone with a kink for 928 lore, like yours truly and Jim Doerr, this is an incredibly important piece of that puzzle.
I found this on German eBay and spoke to the seller about negotiating a deal on this item; I think he still may have it. Anyway, here are some shots of the kit and a link to the short blurb I wrote on flüssig:

Awesome read Pablo!
I thoroughly enjoy reading your articles. Very informative, yet written with a little edginess and humor that makes them very interesting. Looking forward to more!!
Hope you can meet up with us at Hershey sometime.

I'm fortunate to have the 1977 928 press kit, which is pretty neat in its own right. I have it on my website and available for viewing... take a look:

Pablo, you know you really knocked my socks off with this article! Much of my sentiments have been expressed by those also with socks on the floor.
You've put in words a story never been told before, and a key part of Porsche's history which has needed some attention for quite some time.
What amazes me the most is this is just the tip of the iceberg! Certainly this will inspire those at Porsche interested in their history to further identify with this period... and hopefully give them what they need to contribute to it.
Much respect, mein freund.

You're right... this is just the tip of the iceberg. You know exactly what's cookin' on my burners at the moment—toss me that cayenne pepper baby, it's almost done.
