Why not have her buy you something you need instead, like new floor mats, a shifter or custom wheels?

I took a quick look at the specs, and it doesn't seem to have navigation. That may not be important for some, but I find I like having it. A new unit that included that feature is something I would definitely consider a worthy upgrade.

if you have and android phone, mirror link does nav. works pretty well.

True, as long as the phone's GPS antenna is good. My current phone has terrible GPS reception. Of course that would a problem with my phone, not your head unit.
