What are you replacing it with?

What did you remove to install the double DIN unit?

Did you suggest a ICS-X7HD? That way you can just swap in the new one and sell your old one with a virginal harness, cage, and original packing materials.

Yes, you lose money, but you win husband points. Maybe she'll put the evil Queen outfit back on.

I guess I don't understand the logic in replacing a modern head unit that does everything you need with a new unit.

How are you ahead in that deal?

Why not have her buy you something you need instead, like new floor mats, a shifter or custom wheels?

Not my business to post it, but suffice it to say that Jake married well.

As far as Alpine touch screen double DIN's go, this unit is the entry level model. There are 7 models with additional features above this one.

At $350 it's a screaming deal for someone.

no one ever said a Physicist had to be uncool... :-P but being the telescope she wants is about 3 times what the radio is, i need to sell this sucker to offset it.

I hear you about that...I bought mine from my lawn-mowing proceeds around 1984 or so. It was $700 back then! Then again I still have it, so maybe that wasn't so bad...
