Default Anyone heard of C Brakes?

They have an EBay add up for 'OEM' brake rotors for '86-wherever that cutoff ends... S4 brakes, basically. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I'm going to need new rotors at some point soon, and the price seemed good although I actually haven't priced them yet in general.

Support our vendors here. Highly likely you'll find the price will be as good or better, and you'll have known quality rotors, and back up in the event of any issue.

If you have compared the quality on a side by side comparison of some of the Chinese components to a German OEM supplier such as Zimmerman rotors, you would not risk a cracked rotor, or sub par performance . Our forum sponsor 928 Specialists, Roger at 928s r Us, 928 International plus Pelican and to some extent Vertex, have invested countless hours in assuring a good supply of parts for our cars.
At least talk to them first before you outsource to EBay.
There are times when some 928 parts are out of sight cost wise, and a substitute makes sense, or made in USA is a better alternative (radiators come to mind).
Your choice, but "choose wisely"

Believe me, I've got our vendors on speed dial. I haven't outsourced anything to Ebay (well, the taller console lid, but that's different) I'm just gathering info. When push comes to shove, I don't have an unlimited budget, so IF this brake vendor turned out to be a known, quality supplier, and IF it was a really, really good financial deal, I'd go that way for the brakes, and the money I'd saved would probably end up going to our vendors for something else. There is no shortage of stuff I need :-)

FWIW, the ad claimed they were based in California and the product was made in the USA...but I've never heard of them.

I have had rotors from brakelabs (ebay) on my shark since the spring. They have been rock solid, and for $250 delivered for all 4 you can't go wrong. With Hawk pads from Roger.

And I just put the same brand on my wifes Odyssey that has chewed through OEM and Nappa rotors. So far so good.

Both drilled and slotted. Zinc coated as well.

Just remember to send any money you save directly to Roger so he doesn't get mad and accuse you of boycotting the 928 vendors.

Lol I think he has both of mine. "If one doesn't work, try the other." It's expensive having such a demanding steel mistress...
