Great choice. 928 was my first Porsche as well. Get out and drive (after applying maintenance mentioned above).

Hopefully I will be able to handle most of the maintenance stuff in house and save some $$ and make sure it's done right. So far this site has been tremendous with responses and willingness to offer to help me learn about the car.

Very nice, and welcome. I have to ask. What are those things hanging on the wall with wheels on them? Just curious.

Congrats on a beautiful shark!

They don't like to sit, so be prepared for some complaints she'll have about all that garage time, but you now own the most beautiful car ever made!

The wheels on the wall are for my car lift. When installed the lift can actually be rolled around the garage with the car on it. The lift will negative lift itself off the ground and onto the wheels. I never used them since only one bay of my garage has the height to accommodate the lift posts.

Default Inetrior and Engine pics

Here are a few pictures on the interior and engine of my car. I have only driven it 3 times since I got it a month ago. I will start compiling all the parts to do the timing belt and water pump soon. Since I have never done any work like this before on this type of an engine, I will be looking for some help from members here.

Very nice! Congratulation!!

There's a few very special moments in a Porsche owners life:

There's a moment you want one

The moment you finally get one

For the truly inflicted, there's a decade or two that follows :-)

Yes I know it's from one of the Porsche commercials, but it fits perfect:-)
