Here is a rare, desirable Euro that might end up being a good deal!

Odometer always doubtful on these cars, no way are those seats 165k miles, but maybe replaced as other bits seem to show the age. Never the less this is a tasty looking car on balance considering faults and lack of a reserve. OTOH it may get a lot of interest and bidders who skip past the need for tires and timing belt service, not to mention it doesn't run which complicates transport.
No direct interest from me, but I will take a guess the bid goes over $6k, unless that carfax mileage gets into the listing, then maybe it doesn't make it to $5k.

1985
928
C00
M28.21
G28.10
058 Bumpers with impact absorbers
220 Locking differential
261 Passenger side mirror - electric - plain
395 Light metal wheels - forged
415 Wider rear track
454 Automatic speed control
650 Sunroof
The seats are the only bit of the interior which look ok - which makes me suspicious, and afraid for the purchaser's wallet!

Seller doesn't seem too familiar with 928's, and the listing was a mess using the ebay auto list with wrong vin and trying to explain it in the description. Seller told me he is relisting due to that. I sent him a message showing carfax works with the Euro vin.

Before you purchase the car for the trans, I would verify the numbers on it. If the car has 165k, there is a chance it was replaced with any available 5 spd. My '84 Euro doen not have the original trans. However, I do have a later model one sitting in my garage.

After half a dozen owners nothing can be trusted to be original. Several of the Euro's I looked at buying did not have original S heads or cams, some missing one or two legs of the Euro intake replaced with US. Anything is possible.

auction's over, it fetched a pretty good price for a non runner, and mileage discrepancy.
