Default I seem to be missing stabilizers???

Something looked wrong to me, like I have a piece of my rear suspension missing from both sides. Taking a look at the WSM diagram, I think it's the stabilizer. What are the ramifications of this? Is there some reason a PO might have removed them entirely?

The angle is awkward, but you can clearly see two areas that look like something should be attached.

Yep, drop links. How does your car handle?

Well, it's the only 928 I've ever driven, and I haven't really been pushing it, but it has felt OK.

FWIW, I've felt the car is a bit bouncy, but I was attributing that to presumably dead shocks. Since the drop links attach to the sway bar, I would guess I should be feeling more body roll. I wonder if I have the front ones?? Something to look for tomorrow, for sure.

Both sides missing. I have not inspected the sway bar yet. I'm thinking if I'm buying parts, it might be a good time to just get Hans' latest Ott drop links. I remember that thread from before I had my car, but for some reason wasn't initially aware that's the part I was missing.

I've had a couple of rear drop links fail over the years.

The "O" around the bushing at the top (usually) breaks at the weld and spreads open up to a wide "C". Your PO probably removed them to keep them from bashing around rather than fixing them (they can be re-welded or replaced).

Since yours are missing, your rear anti-sway bar is disconnected, meaning that your car is going to understeer - even more than the understeer the factory designed into the suspension to save us from our selves.

You know, I do get a sort of clanking from the passenger side rear. I don't suppose this could be related? I'm probably not that lucky lol.

Heh, I've seen them bent at odd angles but never missing. This is going to be like a new car when you get some. Think about getting Han's new drop links, perfect time for it.
