Default '93 928GT For Sale

HI Everyone:

Ran across this ad and thought I'd share it with you all. Seems awfully low priced, issues? Not interested in a white car myself but thought someone may be interested... Enjoy.

Not crazy about white either. But, it does sounds very interesting. I'm waiting for pictures now. They say the title is clear. Wish I knew someone on Long Island that could check it out.

Anyone know anything more?? I just noticed from the looks of the single picture that it looks to be missing the front spoiler.

There is a different language used in advertizements . For example ..." Jack Russell Terrier ; good watch dog " Means the little devil barks all the time . Or "Springer Spaniel needs large yard " Means the hyper dog has seperation anxiety and destroyed the apartment . When referring to cars "good driver" means it is a DOG .....much of the new is gone and driving it is not going to hurt it . It is not a show car , not a collector car , just another " fallen angel ". But there are those who can not help but want to "save" ........

I guess I never thought of my driver as a "fallen angel". Though I do understand what you are saying, Jim.

...5.4Litres, 340+hp, 15K... doesn't sound too bad. Well it's an auto, but hey.

Wish you guys would quit bad-mouthing AT's. The beast doesn't care what kind of tranny got it to corner entry at the right speed. The loud pedal works the same in all these animals.

Mike,
I wasn't bad mouthing the auto, I used to have a 3sp 928 and loved it.

What I meant was: could you imagine picking up a GTS 5sp for 15K?

Hell, I can't even imagine picking up an AT GTS for $15K! Must either be the buy of a decade, or a really sad example......

I know Jim. I was mostly kidding. I just see a lot of "Gee... I'd buy it but it's an AT" leaving the impression that they're dogs compared to the 5spd. That is a helluva price, tho. Hope it went to a good home.

I just missed an original owner'93 5-Speed GTS for $17K last year!! Black/Blue, looked like new inside, well maintained, but 180K+ miles. Just sold and out on eBay before I could get the funds. Actually went for $18.5K on eBay (after 3rd time, dead beat bidders)...

Well I am the new owner of this car. I just want to say thank you to Eric-17 for posting it here on the renn-list. May-be I should wait until I see the car first before I thank him....HA>>>HA I did have a respectable Porsche mechanic do a complete inspection of the car as well as a Car-fax and will have the car shipped to me here in So-Cal. Then comes the job of S/Cing it.

I will post the condition when I get it....however the mech. said it was the deal of the century!!!!!!we will see!
