Default Gts for sale in NH

Found on my daily Craigslist search. No affiliation. Ad sounds a bit odd.

He's limiting his market with the restrictions he places on viewing and access ....

I WILL NOT send pictures. Car is for sale locally only. If you want to see it then come by.

That's part of the reason I said the ad sounds odd.

Within the goofiness of this ad from an apparently goofy seller ("No pictures!"), may lie a non-goofy car at a goofy price. (49K is pretty low, right?) Opportunity!

Boy, I would sure be careful about that 'cosmetic' damage, who knows what all might have been knackered down there? If the guy were smart he'd have it repaired and then offer it at a Willhoit-type asking price ...

He thinks he has a national treasure on his hands (might be).. and sounds like a PITA to deal with. He'll learn on CL that not many have $50k to fall over themselves to buy a car from him or play his game. The car is accident damaged yet he's asking a premium price...

He sounds like a real PIA. It's worth a call, but I agree w/Curt, people aren't going to beat down his attitude, w/o some cooperation on his part. It's not that special an opportunity at this price. Wrong time of year in NH to play cat and mouse.

Price is too high for a no photos car.

Also, why would he care where the check comes from. I smell a scam. Why not replace the front fascia for less than $5000 and then sell the car for near twice as much.

Guys I just had an incident with a guy in Londonderry who tried to scam me on that 83 Euro somebody posted here on rennlist a few weeks ago. I don't want to get involved but would be curious to find out who the guy is. Someone should email the seller, find out his name and number and then PM me and I will tell you if it is the same guy.

I noticed this on CL last night. Seems odd the way he is presenting the car.
Priced at $49,999 with damage to the front of the car?

I live in the next town over from where this vehicle is supposedly stored at.
I've replied to his C-list add asking if I can set up an appointment to view and maybe get some photos.
Let you know if anything comes of it.
Thanks
Tbruz

I bet he bought it for a song and is just flipping it. He probably is already hitting a grand slam if someone offered him 40k for it. Lately, it seems like a lot of people are in the business of flipping cars. I'm having a heck of a time finding a seller who has owned a Cayenne Turbo for more than a year.
