'90 928 S4 new owner. Intro
Hi, I'm Jerry. I am the new owner of a 928. For some reason I can't post pics yet, post count to low?
I have been looking for a while at the 928s and finally got my money right and found one that I really liked. This car came from Reno NV to Winston Salem NC.
I'm not sure the PO was a Rennlist'r. But I will go aver an little history.
PO supplied a binder of maintenance and upgrades on the car since 1997. The car had ~78k on the odometer at that time. Various repairs are documented from TB/WP to fuel pump, alternators and other tid bits.
It has had several owners I think I'm number 5. The car currently has 107k on it. TB/WP completed last fall @104k
The car is clean.
Condition: Black Interior is 90ish%
The body is 90% the red paint shines, but Needs detailing. Has some water spots and possible touch up paint on the front bumper needs to be re-addressed. The rear spoiler seems to need to be re-epoxied the forward nuts that were in the wing seem to be loose, and the wing has movement/slop.
The car has 17" polished or chromed turbo twists(most likely non-OEM?)
Stereo was upgraded to a kenwood with usb input. Descent radio I guess.
One of the special things about this car is the 928 Motorsports stage I supercharger kit on it. She runs good, but I feel it needs some more attention to get the full hidden power outbid her. I will make a seperate post about that in the near future.
Installed by a shop in Reno(name escapes me, but it's in the binder mentioned above)
Opinions and suggestions are welcome.
Link to my google drive with pics for anyone interested.
