Spade Jumper: Make or Buy?
I am going to add spade fuse jumpers to my emergency kit, since so many had them at Frenzy. Is that something you can buy, or is it better to make? If they have to be made, I am happy to do so, but want to know how best to do so. Also , how many should I have with me?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Just make them, or I can make some and have Roger put them in the next box to go out.

Pretty easy to make yourself. I made mine with specs given to me by Sean. I can give you the info tonight when I get home if you like.
I had my jumper with me at Frenzy and offered it, but at the time nobody seemed interested in using it. (Sorry, it is the Fuel Pump relay jumper that I'm talking about) What are the Fuse Jumpers?

Yeah I know you can end up blowing fuses, but wouldn't it be better to have some of those lying around, that you can plug in and test? The reason I say is that if the circuit is blowing a fuse, that's generally the cheapest part that will blow, but if you replace it with a wire...well the wire is unlikely to protect whatever is next in line. I know you all know this so maybe I'm misunderstanding why you need these...

Here is a pic of a very nice one. Not hard at all to make:

Not a big surprise who posted it.

For general purpose jumpers you want nice beefy wire (12AWG or less) and a good solid fuseholder and selection of fuses.
Using plain wire jumpers can be risky - are you 100% sure you have the right relay & relay terminals? Much better to blow a fuse than the wiring on the back of your CE panel....

Yup..ive got a switch in mine with some longer wire. Never know when you are stranded and actually need control of a fuel pump relay or the likes. Handy for diagnosing things as well when you can control it without having to reach in an plug and unplug the connection.
