Missing a relay?
It looks like an 89 S4 or GT to me. (the green reset button on the console)
Mads - from memory, its the relay position for the seat belt chime - USA cars have an audible chime as well as the light telling them to wear a seatbelt. RoW cars have no chime

If you'd like to have a chime you can probably get one from a USA owner who has pulled the annoying chime relay out... You should have the wiring.
However it does also do a different chime if you leave the key in with engine off and door open, it also chimes for key out, engine off door open and marker lights on OR key out, engine off door open and parking lights on (e.g. one side). These latter ones are more useful reminders.

On my 89 in this position, from left to right-
I have
blue alarm relay
center black chime
and this silver relay installed in far right position-
looking the number up it is a A/C relay?
I don’t see it listed on the new fuse/relay charts

This is a correct stock configuration.
None of these console relays are listed on the CE panel fuse/relay diagrams - because they aren't located on that panel. The relay in question is an optional additional alarm relay for your year - included with M484 option on M533 cars only. It is a relatively basic relay but with 2 sets of terminals - so a single coil DPST circuit configuration and it is used to flash the Fogs Lights & Brake Lights when the alarm is alerting. This option existed on S4's from 1987 - 1990. In 1991 onward this function was integrated into the new alarm/central locking/interior light module - so all these cars (worldwide) have it.
This also answers OP Mad's original question from long long ago too...
The 928.615.211.00 Bridge (the little flat 'relay' in first thread photo) is used on ROW LHD cars in place of the Chime - it passes through the seat belt switch direct to the seat belt light. ROW RHD cars have different wiring (RH drivers seat) to accomplish the same thing as this bridge. So seems the Chime only existed on USA cars. The other relay there (Left) is also for the Alarm - an Alarm adaptation relay interfacing to the new door lock actuators & LED's from 1989 - 1990 and also used to drive the Alarm Lights Flasher Relay (M484 option) for those years.
