What we don't get from Don's video is the auto trans smoke from the view we had. Don did a service the day before and an o-ring or something on the reservoir was loose. We got the James Bond view in the back. Left hand turns were the worst. Glad it was something not serious Don.
Yeah, I apologize to anyone that drove behind me during the weekend, Sean, Rusty, etc... I owe you a car wash. I actually didn't lose that much fluid by the time I got back to Houston, but it was dripping just enough to burn on the exhaust and smoke some. I ordered the O-ring for the reservoir from Roger today and will have lots of fun trying to replace it without losing all my new fluid. I meant to mount the GoPro backwards some during the drive but never got around to it. That would have captured some smoke for sure.
Where do I find details on this 2015 Spring Fling? Had a blast at Third Coast and eager to repeat.
Brad
Just found out the Texas Mile is Mar 27-29. Like to tie in "The Mile" as long as the college spring break weekend does not coincide the same weekend. This will allow to keep the host hotel rates down. Will firm up everything soon and post up event dates (sticky) just after the New Year. Happy Holidays T
Hopefully the first and LAST broken bone at 3rd Coast!!
I go into surgery tomorrow to repair with pins and such.
My little stunt put a serious dent in my car parts budget!!!!
Yowsa Mike! That really hurts. Made me think of this guy. You'll soon be his pinky stunt double. Get well soon.
Wish I could have made it this year. Corporate board meeting in Miami overruled any possibility of having fun. Next year.
Chuck, next year when you post your first notification for 3rd Coast include the dates in the thread title. Makes it easier to keep track of when. Really missed everyone.
