The auxiliary frame set looks brilliant, and the HF jack attachment would certainly distribute the jacking load better.
Thanks for the suggestions thus far.
I did find this, but $$$$$

Now I only need something to adjust the paranoia I feel every time I slide under a car ha ha.

For the paranoia - paranoia is good here... always have a backup...
For most work I lift on to ramp sections at one end, HD jackstands at the other, chock under the jackstand tires and position the floor jack as a backup near where I am working.

77Tony,
Would you have a link to the photo of the 1 side lift?
It seems there is a "www. - - - ---".. on the photo but the rest of the address is washed out somehow?
Thanks in advance!

Coincidentally, I'm spending the afternoon today setting the anchors for the Maj-Jax at the new home in Oregon. I won't bore you with the details, but the interesting parts so far have been with coring through the tile floor and setting the anchors through the tile. Plus I need to get longer hoses to reach the lift that's a couple feet forward of where it was relative to previous garage door wall. I'll update the Max-Jax thread with all that when I'm done.
For this thread, if safety and convenience are the goal, the Max-Jax has worked well for several of us in this group. Moves completely out of the way when not needed, picks the car up to about 48" at the lift pads, plus offers full undercar access that most scissor lifts can't.
