Well, all respect to James it has a 4.7 motor in it now, and AT. Hardly any competition to the 6.5 stroker it had. So, Fish, titling this "MA former race car" is a bit of a stretch, yes, it is set up for racing. Still, I hope he get's his price.

Mark has a few race cars in his history, some not even 928's. (!!) There are cup car trophies and plaques hanging on his wall, and a championship (or two?) lurking in there someplace I think.
This one is a perfect car for someone who in interested in getting started in racing. I'm sure James has the logbook. Thee's no possible way you could build a car like this for the money. Some things like belts and other safety stuff will likely need to be brought up to date, and compliant with rules in whatever sanctioning group you might race under. IIRC, Mark did mostly POC events in that one. Since those days, several other race orgs have popped up. From personal experience, I'd find the strictest rules and bring it into that compliance. For max flexibility in where you can use the car, but more importantly for personal safety while competing.

I thought the 6.5 liter was first seen in the white car. maybe it did start here with the "other " white one.
