Default Waiting is hard sometimes... new car

Hi

I really struggle to be patient and the last week or so has been very tough. I have agreed to purchase a 1990 S4 with a bit over 32,000 km's on the clock.

It's getting a few things sorted before I take delivery, probably next week now. Waiting is hard.....

I'll post more photos and details after I've got my hands on it!

Cheers

Richard

Congrats.
Is that the one that's been on TradeMe for a couple of years now?

That's beautiful!

What are the issues they are sorting out? Moving the steering wheel to the correct side?

I think the steering wheel on the right would be a small price to pay for not having those hideous DOT marker lights.

Yes, maybe that's part of the sort he is undertaking.
I've always liked those wheels - simple and uniquely 928. Could use some center caps with colored Porsche crest - would help freshen the wheels up.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Yes, not only is the steering wheel on the wrong side we also drive upside down!

I'll post a full description thread once I have had a chance to have a bit of time with it and have taken some photos. I intend to keep it OEM in appearance so the slot wheels will probably stay on. The coloured wheel centres is a great idea will contact Roger about that.

I've been on a bit of a journey with Porsche ownership with various models and some regrets on a couple os sales, some silly decisions made. I have always looked at 928's and have had the the urge to go back. For me they have a presence, the front on view is amazing in my mind. Love the style, noise, sense of occasion.

I have got to say that the 928 forum is an open and welcoming community. You guys have such a huge knowledge base.

Cheers
Richard
