Lower ball Joint eccentrics
I m getting ready to dive into tie rods and ball joints. My 83 still has the original aluminun lowers. I have all the parts, but am getting conflicting part numbers for the two needed eccentrics for the replacement steel joints. I have done the search with mixed results.
Which of these two part numbers do I need to get ??
928 341 466 01 or 928 341 466 00
Not sure which is the 26mm one. Thanks

From what I remember when I did mine, you only need one new eccentric per side. Roger at 928s R Us can put together a package. You might want to replace the bracket, since more of the stud is exposed with the new carrier, but I didn't.
I eventually had to use a pickle fork to separate the ball joint from the arm. Pain in the neck.

Please be aware that the wheel alignment procedure also changes when you go from aluminium to steel lower ball joint carriers. I think that the function of the inside and outside excentrics are reversed.

Thanks, yes I am aware I only need one new per side and the alignment functions are reversed. Just looking for the correct part number.
