I received mine recently but haven't had a chance to install it yet (along with Greg Brown dual oil cooler hoses). Here are a few pics fresh out of the box - I can email higher resolution versions if you'd like:

Just installed one today and give it a dozen thumbs up. This is the first aluminum radiator that I have dealt with that I didn't have to make any modifications to make it fit, and I've dealt with all of them.

The fit and finish on this is fantastic and I'm surprised that Mark and Roger are able to offer these at such a low price.

One thing that might need some attention to though is where the hose that runs across the top to the nipple, the channel that you push the hose in to won't fit on the rad. The lip is not tall enough.

Otherwise, this thing is top notch work, well done Mark.

I got the radiator about 2 weeks ago. I chickened out and had the shop take care of the removal and installation for me.

Cooling was really the last system that I hadn’t had to update because of a parts failure. I’d been thinking that I was on borrowed time with the old radiator and 29 years is a loooooong time. An end tank crack popped up in June and I don’t think I am exaggerating when I say that I got the e-mail from Mark announcing pre-orders for the radiator on just about the same day as I got the leak.

The radiator is just beautifully made. I can’t imagine how it could be done better. It fits, just as described, exactly in the place of the original unit.

I am looking forward to 29 years of happy drives behind this most excellent part. My car will be 58 years old, if this (day)dream comes true!

I you need a radiator you cannot go wrong by buying this one.

Hi

I installed my new radiator this weekend. Unfortunatly it did not fix my overheating problem, but that is not the radiators fault

My experience after installing it in my 78 5-speed euro with AC and with engine oil cooler was quite good. But like mentioned earlier the edge on the front is not high enough to mount the bleedline clamps to. What I did was move them to the condensor which worked out ok. Also I filled the radiator with destilled water before I mounted it and was supprised to see some aluminium sawdust come out. So seems like a flush would be recomended before installation.

Re: Overheating: Did you drain the block and make sure there are no blockages in any of the hoses? Have you changed out the thermostat? Is the belt on the fan turning the fan?

Good luck!

YEA I can sing on the road again once mine arrives. Very excited. We are having a mild winter in South Carolina. Although that really does not matter

Default New Radiator for only $595

Just wanted to thank everyone who has picked up a radiator from Mark and Tom at 928 International (or though one of their dealers).

Pleasantly surprised to see how well these all-aluminum radiators are selling. Thanks 928 community!!

STAY COOL this summer.
