Hello i recently purchased my first 928. A long time coming and a child dream. Its a 1978 928 5 speed Euro. it has 160,000 well cared for miles on her. It had the same owner (a denist) since new. I attached two photos ( i hope they come up). I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the color of the interior carpet, trim, dash ect ect. i would like to purchase new floor mats and cargo mat. Thank you all

Shes has been well cared for with a new gas tank and upgraded fuel, timing belt done four times (5,000 miles ago was the fourth) with upgraded self tensioner, new bettery, tires an upgared air conditioner. The previous owner took to his current mechanic to have the AC rejuiced and get an new ignition switch put on a fresh inspection sticker. Only three mechanics have ever touched this car...hard to find first year ones in this good of shape i am a lucky man

Looks like "Cork" color to me. I could be wrong though.

Stunning. You are lucky to find one in such well preserved condition. On the later cars the color code is on the build sticker in the warranty booklet and on the build sticker under the rear hatch carpet as well as on a sticker on the driver door opening. Once yo ahve the code there are many sites with the color listings.

Wow, that is gorgeous- Looks like Arrow Blue (?) exterior, not sure which version of 'tan' the interior is, though. Hopefully an expert will be along shortly.

Indeed you are lucky. Just keep up with regular maintenance and drive it on sundays. Forget the zippy doo stuff like fancy big rims etc. Hmm, maybe I'll put a set on my 29 Ford Tudor
Your interior looks quite good for 160K. I can't figure how cars with <100K have interiors that look like pigs lived in it. (maybe in reality MORE than 100K?)

Oh, no - the cliche about 928 owners lives on! ![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
That is 'cork' interior colour - used often in the early models.
Your best bet for floor mats for that interior is to go with black.
Cork colour mats show the dirt far too easily.

Nice car! It doesn't look like petrol blue in the pics. You say it's a Euro, but it has the park lights in the North American location (rather than a single one behind the front wheel and add-on reflects front and back). Were the fenders changed when the car was imported?
