Boy did you find a great one Steve.
The cork interior looks fantastic with that exterior color.
Is it a special metallic? Hard to tell from the picture.
For '78 only blues:
Standard: Albert Blue 387
Special: Minerva Blue Met 304
Petrol Blue Met 376
Don't worry if it is not a standard or common special paint color,
Porsche is known for offering it's customers any custom color they want, as long as they are willing to wait.
I read of a man who asked Porsche to match his new 911 color to his Dog's fur and they did.
The best of luck with your new Porsche.

Hey Steve--
Great buy! Also, always nice to have another shark in NJ! You are right down the road from me. I'll be sure to wave if I see you on 3/46 (i.e., the worst road in the US).

Steve, congrats. I just acquired my first 928 as well - a '79 Convertible that I'm doing some upgrades to, one of which is the sound system. In one of your photos, do I faintly see Polk db speakers in a kick panel box or is it a reflection from somewhere. If so, I'd be very interested to find out where to get those kick panel enclosures if the PO or any of the other 928 enthusiasts know. Thanks.
