Default Introducing my new shark

Hi there,

It is a pleasure for me to present my new shark, I drop some pics here. Of course, this is the actual status, the car will be evolve to a much more original status, starting on rims..

About the car, actually it is a strange creature. In files or official VIN report it is a S4, but have some elements of GT and in the sticker appears an impossible combination (M28.41/G28.55), what it is not a S4 nor GT.

Even more, when I've seen the real engine and gearbox code and numbers, the numbers fits with VIN, but codes are M28.41SP and G28.55 so could be a CS unit, but some things doesn't match...

Happy to be here and particularly thanks to Samuel for all the information provided and his help

Welcome and congrats!
We're "almost" neighbors, considering most people here are from the other side of the ocean...
In no time the experts here will clarify what car you really have, but, in any case, it's beautiful!
All the best!

Regards

^ Ricardo, the colors of your car I am envious of.
Best combination I have seen yet.

Thanks Craig, your comment makes me even more proud of my shark!!
I also think they combine very well and as the Ruby Red Metallic was used only on 83 and 84, it's not very common.
Thanks again

This is an old pic but it's the only one I have where the contrast is more visible.

Regards

OP, please share more pictures of the car! What is going on with the front bumper? Is it just a blurred out plate?
Looks great, enjoy!

Sport seats - nice.
All in all a little work, and you'll be where you want.
Aside from mechanical/electrical maintenance you should get fuel rail covers.
Also, you need to get a cover for the wiring harness/jump start post on the passenger side in the front of the engine bay. This stuff can not get wet ! Rain or washing can lead to problems. Get this sooner than later.
I've attached a link to the parts list catalog.

Also Ferri, read the New Visitor thread at the top of the Forum page. Lots of good information there for you.

Ferri,
Are you going to be doing your own work on the car, or are you having someone do it for you ?
Whether you are or not, here are some links that may provide some education on matters.

Ferri,
Do you have Air Conditioning? I can't see the condensor in your engine bay pic.
