Can I switch seat styles? Is it plug and play?

I am planning on buying the seats in style 2 (diagram) on Wednesday. It's a 3 hour drive each way so a "heads-up" would be greatly appreciated.
I am doing this because my seats (style 1) are destroyed, unlike the photo.

They will bolt in no problem. I did this same swap. The only change you will have to make is the electrical connector. Those did vary by year and model.

physical mounting is easy. no issues. like nordic said, just an electrical connector issues. plenty of people have done the swap.

Note also that if the 'new' seats have memory you won't be able to use it - but they will still work just fine as manual only seats.

I put 968 seats in my car while the original seats were being repaired.. Hey where did you find that picture of the three different examples ?

I found it in a random Google search a while back. Saved it to my computer, though for research.
