Because they had such spotty coverage of the 928 over the years, 928 readership is probably quite low, therefore nothing will change going forward.

As a longtime subscriber I would love to write up something on my GTS- Two more ongoing projects to complete on it and then I intend to contact the editors about doing a story. Though, as always the community is the real story on 928s.

This will probably be true.

If flussig didn't have them shaking in their axle boots, the first sign of goodwilled intentions would be a story on same.

The antidote for small numbers is noise, especially to a niche magazine like Excellence. All of us who subscribe should write to them and give them an attaboy for their rethink, and go on to tell them why 928 coverage in Excellence is important! I think reader submissions can be good, too, with two caveats: 1. they likely not sufficiently double-check information submitted, and then edit much sense out of it; 2. it's their job, not mine, to create interesting and readable material. Which reinforces my first point - if they think they have an interested audience, they will cater to it. Noise! As soon as I get the current issue (USPS must not have fed the ponies last week), I'll write and cc the list.

When I was doing ad layout for Lindsey Racing Excellence was about the only magazine they advertised in regularly for their 944 Turbo upgrade sales. It seemed to be THE magazine those that spend money upgrading performance subscribe to as opposed to those the want to maintain a stock vehicle.

I think that's reserved for the mental health journals!!
