Default ? for all the boys & girls running 19" wheels

I'm curious what size tires those who have 19" wheels are running?

Not looking to start a wheel size debate, just looking to hear from those who actually run or have run 19's on there 928

I run 18's so this is just out of curiosity.

Thx

Use a tire calculator.
http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-calculator/
Put in the original size to get the diameter/circumference that was spec'd by Porsche.
Put n the 19 inch sizes available and get the closest possible match.

I'll have to look again but I, pretty sure they are 295/30/19 rear and 255/30/19 front. I know my fronts are wider than most here seem to use.

You have the best size on the front. Those of that don't like understeer have been running 255s for years and years

8.5" wheels can easily run 245s.

Remember that the offset of the wheel can make a big difference too...

OEM Porsche Carrera Classic wheels off a Cayman
19x8 et 58 fronts w/ 245/35's
19x9.5 et 46 rears w/265/30's

Needing to replace rears, thinking of going to 275/30's, but with the et46 rear offset, it will be a REALLY tight fit.

I tried to run 255-35 on the front and got a little bit of rub when I would turn sharply. I would have liked to run 245's but the 235's were a price I couldn't pass.

I really didn't want to run 30 series tires on the front.

Thumbs up

I'd like to take a moment to point out that ALL of the awesomeness in this thread is with brown cars!
