What is it?
Went to check my oil the other day and found this setting on top of my intake. No idea what it is but everything seems operational and engine runs smooth with no noises.
Is this something to worry about?
88S4 5 speed.

It is the bracket that holds the CO test tubes to the airbox. I'd take a picture of it but I removed them from my car.

It's a very important piece. Your car is doomed. Ship the car to me and I'll give you salvage for it and get rid of it for you

Is this part no longer used with the aftermarket intake in my avatar picture? It was installed by the PO so I am not sure what was deleted.
Thanks for the quick response.

this is part 928.111.011.00 which is used to support the air cleaner box. One on each side.

Parfait Sylvain.
I knew that piece lived somewhere under the box, but I just couldn't remember exactly where and for what.
