Are the spacers only required for 1987 S4s? I have my valve covers off and I don't want to put them back on without putting spacers on it. If so, where do I find these spacers "Part Number N 013 811 2"? Are the spacers ontop of the valve cover and not inside? thanks

Best to use the spacers on all cam bolts - we stock the spacers at about $0.50 each.

I had to put those after the cam cover refresh.
The spark plugs cover seal were still leaking even with new ones.
I put those on all cam bolts.
No more leak.

There on top. Like this.
Thanks Dwayne.
