Default Swapping seat backs

Hi All,

Like most, my drivers seat has some wear on the bolster and rather than having them recovered I thought perhaps the seat backs could swapped from the passenger seat. I realise this means taking the seats apart and wonder if anyone has done it?

Cheers
Scott

Hey there Scott.
How much wear is 'some wear' ? Is it revivable ? Post a pic if you can. I've done some significant revival to my seats, and they look and feel great. Let's see what you got.

I am doing mine just now and you cannot just swap them over. The mechanism on the seat back pivot will not allow since they are left and right specific. You could spend a lot of time dismantling and removing the cover but if you go that far just put new leather on. I am documenting the entire leather replacement as I proceed . If you need any pictures to see what I am doing to help you, email me.
