Does anyone happen to know the diameter of the torque tube on an '81 928S RoW with manual gearbox?

I'm trying to find a suitable alternative for part number 999 512 325 02. It is the clamp that goes around the torque tube and holds the upper hook for the exhaust hanger.

Thinking of ordering a similar, alternative part from McMaster Carr locally, like something off of this page (only because the original Porsche part is NLA...)

Do you want an authentic clamp instead?

Though in this application, realizing now you want only the clamp, I guess it really makes no difference.

I'm confused, which piece are you looking for? I have a spare set of everything pictured if you need a new one.

The band clamp was still available in Germany in December 2010, no longer, huh?

(at least, thats the S4-sized clamp).
