I was standing next to my Turbo getting ready to go for a lakeside jog yesterday when a guy drove up and asked me if I knew anybody looking to buy a 928.

We started talking and he told me he's got an '87 928S that he is looking to unload. He said the motor runs but it is out of the car (and has been that way for at least 5 years). He claims he pulled the motor to work on a shift linkage problem and just never got around to completing the work. He says the car has about 68,000 miles. He says the car is black and he repainted it when he pulled the motor.

Long story short, I told him I wasn't interested but offered to ask around.

Full disclosure, he seems like a nice guy but doesn't seem all that knowledgeable about 928's. I never met the guy before and I have no dog in the hunt (I have not even laid eyes on the car) but I figured I'd throw it out to the RL 928 community to see if anyone was looking for a garage find.

If anyone has interest shoot me a PM and I'll send you his name and phone number. Additionally, if there is interest I can call him up and run over to his house to take some pictures.
