The Alcoa run is a route that Andrew Olson devised a few years ago. It's probably one if the best fun runs ever. We stay at the comfort suites at 140 cusak drive in Alcoa on Thursday evening, and do the run on Friday. Here is a link to last years thread.

So far I haven't heard anything and might not be able to make it myself. I check with a few more, but might just cut my trip a day short.

Cool, I'm gonna wait till next week to decide based on weather. If the weather is good I'm going to likely just do the BRP up to banner elk via the cherohala skyway.
