The SilverStar bulbs are still visible, with a slight blue-ish hue under the lens. And they are not available for the side markers. In fact, there are NO incandescent bulbs available for the side markers that are amber or silver. Which is why I recommend the LEDs.

Jim has the specifications for the LEDs - it's part of the package I transferred to him at the end of last year. It is up to him, whether he wants to publish the specs, sell them as part of the conversion kit, or both. I personally think he should offer the LEDs, but that's none of my business.

Thanks Nicole I'll take a look at his sight and see what he has to offer.

For the front turn signal, see Ed’s post #2 here: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...uggesions.html The 2 bulbs and flasher will set you back ~$75 from super bright.

For the side markers and just about every other LED bulb, jump to 40 here: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...ich-one-3.html

I have some LEDs in stock, available via special order. Feel free to email me your request to jim@928classics.com

I haven't yet listed them on my website as there has been no demand, until yesterday where there were two requests.

Lens sales are starting to pick up, so it may be time to offer some lighting options as well.

I agree. It's pretty lightly coated with silver, but the picture makes it look like a full coat. Even lighter would probably be OK.
Thanks,
Dave

The paint and bulbs set me back less than $20. I couldn't find amber or chrome/amber bulbs locally. The spray paint method seems pretty good for now. I could source other bulbs on line.
It's a sunny day today, and I shot a picture.
