If it is the one with the "0" in it it will zero the trip odometer when you push and hold if for a second or two.

And best to do when NOT MOVING !!! as it stresses the fragile gear. May be the last time you ever see it move.

thanks all, but it is only the trip odometer for the american cars. On the euro cars like mine it has a light insignia on it. My trip odometer is under the dash.
I think it is for the rear emergency flasher on the euro but im not sure.

I'm gonna guess you haven't read through your Owner's Manual.

If you don't have one, there is a link in the New Visitor...FAQ thread to on-line versions.

Its for rear fog lights - these may have been disabled in fereralization. They only work when the front foglights are already on.

Randy V. Yes the owners manual I have read but it is for the American cars, and also looked on the new visitors post. The problem is mine is an 84 Euro which is not listed. I have downloaded the 83 Euro but just wanted to make sure.

Hello all, I now have my pod off. And I have a question, on the left side are three ****. On a euro top is for the headlights, middle *** for the fog lights, and bottom for the rear emergency flasher. My wiring harness however, has a 4th plug that is not plugged in and is just hiding behind the dash. The emergency rear flasher is still hooked up. does anyone know what the 4th plug would be for ?

This is how a US-928 is wired...usually....same amount of locations for switches

1 - Headlights (Top Left)
2 - Front Fog lights (Middle Left)
3 - Rear Fog lights (Bottom Left)...(USA version has a odometer reset button here) (Euro rear fog connector is still in the wiring and probably hiding behind the pod)
4 - Rear Defrost (Top Right)
5 - Emergency flashers (Middle Right)
6 - Ignition Switch (Bottom Right)

Sounds like someone has rearranged the switch locations....as Alan has already pointed out, the 4th connector is for the REAR fog lights

Cars have both loom connectors for the ROW config (rear fogs) and USA config (Dash Reset) one will be taped up and unused inside the pod: which one depends on the build region.

Your switches are placed in the wrong locations - which is why you are confusing people

Fog (ROW) or Reset (USA) is bottom left, hazard is mid right, rear defrost is top right
