Default Question on offsets

I am looking at some wheels for my 928 S4. They are 17" and the owner is stating the offsets are 23 front and 17 rear.

If I am correct my car has offsets of front 65 and rear 55... for the GTS Cup style wheels. If that is correct does it mean that the ones for sale would need 38mm spacers? Is there a better solution?

Thanks,
Bryan

No. you would need to go the other way and remove material to correct the off-set, so these ore not a fit for the 928.

Those are unusable for you (I think). It sounds like they are for a 944. et 55 is marginal for front. I do have a set of 996 wheels here. 17x8.5 et 55 17x9 et 50.

Those are for old style 911 and 944 suspension which require 20-30mm thick spacer if 928 wheels are used in them.

Thanks guys, I did have 996 TT wheels (just sold them tonight) and the 928 came with 17" turbo twists which I am also selling. I want the GTS Cup wheels if I can find them used... don't want to buy new if I can avoid it.

Anyone out there selling a set?

Bryan
