Hi Phil. Do you have the Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus in 225 45 16 (not the AS3)? How much Shipped for two to 81506? Thanks.

Van, I have gone to 245 50 16 for my 8 and nine inch rear 16 inch wheels, not so much because of availability problems, but moreso because I don't care much to have my rear tires smaller than my fronts. The 245 45 16 tires calculate out to be 24.68 inches tall and the 225 50 16's for the front calculate out at 24.86. The difference isn't much but still I don't care for it. The 245 50 16 calculates at 25.64 so they are about an inch taller than the fronts, and I like that much better. I have found them in both Michelin and Bridgestone.

Conti Sport Contact are also made in that size, in addition to the Toyo Proxies and the Bridgestones.

I also found 3 different unfamiliar brands that do that size.

Last summer I bought a set of BF Goodrich Comp 2 for the GT...from Tire Rack. They were a good price and are not noisy...but I don't see them for sale on Tire Rack any longer

Sorry I don't see a 225/45R16 Pilot Sport AS Plus listed.

For some reason they're not available outside Europe as far as I've found.

I suspect they're there to satisfy the TUV.
