It's a Cayman with a wide body kit and a glass hatch!
In one of the pencil sketches, the rear hatch looks like the tunnelled Jacquemond hatch.
Not sure if it is really for a job application... there is another 928 study ("929") done by Juliann Cho on the same site. It looks like they had to stick with the 2+2 platform -as both designs have 4 seats. Also, the trans would be up front to place the 2 rear seats over the rear axle centerline like that.
They both have some serious talent in their presentation... whether their ideas could actually be created is another story altogether.
I like the first couple of pics of Colard's study... I first thought it was a real car parked under the overhang at the Porsche museum!

Back to the point of THIS THREAD:
Not sure about that... already mentioned the other designer doing the '929' study.
Plus, look at the 'PORSCHE' side stripe. It looks like an afterthought.
NO WAY would a real Porsche designer (or enthusiast) have the stripe so mismatched to the door opening.
If he was really using this for employment purposes, he probably has an identical 'study' badged as an Aston or a Ferrari.

New 921 - 928?
Should Porsche build this front-engine sport coupe?
Renderings show a striking, but possibly superfluous, neo-928
By: Graham Kozak on 4/29/2014
The car shown above is the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive Porsche 921. It's not an official Porsche concept, mind you -- but it is a fairly plausible one, as far as fan renderings go. It was conceived by graphic designer Anthony Collard and brought to our attention by Bradley Brownell of flatsixes.com.
There's really not a whole lot to dislike here. The 921's styling updates the long hood, racy liftback look of the Porsche 928 with modern Porsche styling cues.
