Slipping the carrier back over the "hex" I have left it sitting proud just to show you alignment. (Yes I have chewed my nails, a rather taxing week thus far!!!)

Ok, going back in, finger tight, the carrier takes the injector with it (sorry if that's sucking eggs for you mate)

This, I guess, is the bit you can stuff up, as I have said previously the carrier is a lot softer metal than the injector SO on the way OUT this method may STRIP the carrier body, HOWEVER on the way IN as it is nice and clean, I used the "hex" that is part of the INJECTOR to lock the whole assembly into the spider.

I learnt as a a young fella what OVER tightening a STEEL nut into and ALLUMINIUM body would produce, yeaup Ummm Dad I have a problem...

So easy on the pressure I am sure there are TORQUE figures but I rely on "feel" for smaller applications.

Ok hope this helps mate, I am off to cook dinner for her lordship, and a nice glass off Central Otago Pinot Noir!!!!

Thanks Steve. I am grateful for your trouble. Please give me the chance to return the favor some day.

These are the eight old injectors. Slow tedious but not difficult at all with the proper instruction.

Thanks
