Had a great time once again. Great to see some friendly faces and some fine cars! Our little dog got very sick again, and the hysterical women in my home called just after 5:00 this morning, so I had to split! Sorry I did not get to say goodbye to the Sunday crowd!
Thanks to Harvey for splitting my room with me, and the companionship, and thanks to the other Harvey (Yancey) who let me ride shotgun on the FUN run in his awesome 78 euro!
Thanks again to Jeannie and Dave for continuing this tradition!

After composing a message, Rennlist has noted "Your token has expired" and my post has been lost.
WTF is this?
I take the time to compose, and Rennlist drops the post?
I will recompose, but I guess I must type too slowly.

OK, I guess I was fast enough this time.
The weather was near-perfect, and the mountain drive let us exercise our cars for a couple of hours.
Ran the Blue Ridge Parkway coming up, special time on the BRP.
Dinner was great, Sushi an nice touch, and I met the owners of the Polar Silver GTS, Larry and Joanne.
Reconnected with Ron, owner of #30, and many other 928ers, some from the ATL back yard.
Great event,
Dave

I also had a great time - met up with some really terrific and knowledgeable folks. Great to see Dave and Jeannie, too. This was my favorite SITM ever. I was fortunate to have Rich (POR917) and Ken his Dad following me up this year. We had a lot of fun flogging our cars on the way up and on the fun run with Bobby Huff and DR leading the pack.

Jeannie and Dave, let me add my thanks to those of the rest- it was a great weekend! I really liked the convenience of using the BW parking lot for our Saturday venue, and you were right - the prime rib at Sorrento's was first class! All this plus memorable drives to and from - BRP down and US221/29 back - made for a wonderful time! Thanks again-

Although maybe not as big numbers-wise,,, I think this was one of my favorites. I liked the format change and it was great seeing some of the core guys, friends from before and some new new as well.
Dinner was great and I liked the atmosphere. The best fun run I can remember here. Power hill climbs, switchbacks, hairpins, long sweeping turns, downhill brake control, etc. If your car had an issue or weakness of some kind,,, you probably found out. But from what I remember, everyone did well and had a great time. 2 hours ! My GoPro captured the Roan Mtn run part. Will try to work on it today.
Thanks Dave and Jeannie.

Once again, had a great time! Really enjoyed the extended drive of 82 miles on Saturday, to Roan Mountain, with about 15, 928's. Good to see many of the regulars there, and the weather was good!
