Not sure about Frenzy as I'm scheduled to go away in Sept.

The problem is that I need parts and time and starting tomorrow it's the 5AM to 8PM work week which doesn't leave me any time for wrenching.
BTW, I already paid for the hotel in Waynesboro and it's non-refundable, I'm not sure how to gift it to someone, or even if they'll let me, but I have a hotel available for Thursday night.

Car is all buttoned up. Just some cleaning and double checking left to do.

As of now, we are headed out Thursday morning, and planning to land at the Best Western Thursday night. Thought about doing the fun run, but bringing the "new" 87, which I just dont know that intimately yet. Not sure about giving her the first real shakedown that far from home.
I am not planning on packing heavy tools, but should have a spare MAF, LH, EZK, output stages, fuel pump, ST2 and a Theo Tool with me if anyone runs into trouble.

Is it Thursday yet?
My 11 year old and I are likely arriving Thursday night. Going to try to get in some golf on Friday, I think.
Car got a pretty extensive, exterior detailing this past weekend. Found a new "to me" product I really like, Meguiar's White Wax. Works wonders on somewhat tired Grand Prix White paint.
Of course, I three step paint restored the car (Meguiar's ultimate compound, polish and carnauba) before trying the "White Wax". Tried the white wax out on the front/rear bumper, headlights and all jambs. Worked well!
Also tinted the taillights...first time for my 15 year old and I to do this. Went well. I like the result.

I'll be rolling in on Thursday evening to the Best Western. Will be gone most of Friday - heading to Asheville for the day to check out the Biltmore. Never seen it before, but always wanted to.

So no one needs a free room in Waynesboro VA Thursday night? I paid for the room with points and can't get my money back but they said if I can get them another person they may be willing to transfer the room into their name but time is ticking. I'd hate to just let this go to waste. PM me if interested.

Hey Trey and Tom C,,, will be good to see you again. Tom,, you will really enjoy the Biltmore house, it is pretty awesome. I will be looking for that sparkling white shark Trey,,,!
I will be in Friday early to check-in, then off to Burnsville to visit my Dad. I will be back in the evening for the "relaxing" hours.... I have been so busy this year so far,,, I cannot wait to get out of town alone! Yee-ha

5 hours of detailing last night. Installing a clear bra on the nose tonight.
