expansion tank install
I have a small leak in my expansion tank, minor but it's not going to go away. Bought a new tank from Roger
Not a simple install, how does one access the bolt closest to the fender?

I used a 1/4-drive 10mm socket, short extension, swivel joint at the socket end. Should probably have used a deep socket, longer extension with the swivel joint. But that's the easy part. The bottom hose is inconvenient to get back on. Install it to the reservoir end and clamp. Push the other clamp to mid hose, and loghtly snug it, with the screw in a position that's accessible from the bottom. So facing down, and on the engine side of the hose. Fit the reservoir tabs and bolts only after you slide the end of the hose onto the Y pipe. Adjust from below, tighten from below with a socket on a long extension, reaching up past the exhaust. There's sort of some room to get at it from the top, but from underneath you can easily see it and get it positioned correctly.
Do the other small heater and vent hoses while you are there. Reservoir out gives you easy access to the other y-pipe hose from the heater core, and the two vent hoses are easy while the front of the reservoir can rotate in bit.

Vansteer,
See my post on page 4 of the thread '93 GTS 5 speed (for sale). It is responding to a seeping problem with new overflow tanks noted by Greg Brown. I suggested a possible solution. You might want to check to be sure your new tank holds a vacuum BEFORE installing it!!!

Got it
Thanks, here goes....
Just did and r/r on the intake to remove any and all excess oil that got into it when I over filled it. Cleaned all the plugs as well . Learned my lesson on checking oil on an incline.
