Default Who's going to California Festival of speed

I'm headed out late tommorow to the California Festival of speed. I'm from Phoenix so if any local sharks wanna meet up let me know! I'm going to park my 84 flying purple mile eater in the corral for 928's .

We'll be there. Won't have the 928 with us but we're looking forward to a fun Saturday. We'll look for the purple shark. Josh

Just got into our hotel in Rancho Cucamonga, ca and had a great drive in. The 84 928s handled great. Got a few high speed blasts in on the more remote sections of the route. Amazing the smoothness these cars have at extreme speed. Looking forward to the event tommorow!

Pretty amazing how wide that track is...and how turn one is not really much of a "turn" with all that banking ! Whoaing down to turn into the infield sure tests the brakes.

Ha! The flyer said it would be a low speed escorted track drive. I hit 127 (dang 914 in my way), and Javier hit 142 in his RUF!

Couldn't believe when I went that fast on a parade run. Crazy... fun...

I had way too much stuff in the back of the 928 for that. It took a lot of wow to slow down

We missed you today but we got to check out the purple 928 machine. We dug it a lot, nice wheels. Didn't see you or the car on our way out but we had a great time at the festival. Saw willbjs ride too and a lot of sweet pcars. A lot of really really nice 356s today.
