I did . My sister lives up there so I watch craigslist up and down the cost. She will see some track action in may. The wife and I are heading to Wilcox for some fun.

I have a thing for the 89s and I love the slate gray with linen. I could not pass on it. lizard shifter is next. Already called Roger plus I have the extra GTS mirrors waiting for a car to go on

Congratulations! And where did the selling price fit into the value chart? If you don't care to be specific, could you give us a "more than" or a "less than"?.

Unless something falls off on the way home, I'd say this was well bought! Enjoy the car!

Hard to really say until I get her in a couple weeks. No LSD, but I am looking for one now. Lots of nice extras, the intake was painted and not powder coated.

I am going to register it in NV at my dad's (no smog) so I can ride with the X-pipes and no pump.

I have never used any of the 928 motorsport upgrades, so we will see how the chip, intake spacers and a couple other things added work.

there is an odd mileage thing from 92. Car was under 3-years old and the state marked the "vehicle beyond odometer capability". The clock was recorded at 6K miles and sense the odometer will go to over 9 million miles, the car looks like a 75K wear lever, I am not worried. The seats are the big give away on mileage to me... that and there are good records from there forward, so it does not bother me...

Couple of things missing like pans, cover over the wiper motor type stuff. Nothing major and I have extras, so no issue to me...

Congratulations! It looks like a great car...

What is the "key fob battery shut off"? How exactly does that work..?

Great buy! Slate gray '89s are special.

But to be original you need to say 'Schiefergrau'

With all due respect, the "value" may be subjective, but the selling price is a fact, and if you don't care to say, that's your business. As I'm sure you know, many of us have a vested interest in the 928 market, which, I'm sure we all hope will someday reflect the fact that the 928 is one of the greatest cars ever made, yet remains grossly undervalued.

Ok, picked her up last night at 2AM. Pretty good shape. Issues:
o ignition key fifferent that the rest of the car
o trunk pull does not pop the trunk
o center console plastic in front of the shifter, below ask tray broker (that sucks)
o dash cracks (nothing unusual)
o Chip in the windshielf
o Clutch is supper high (at the top) - that needs adjusting, hope I can (new throughout barring and clutch just done)
o pods are all shot - only blows out of the center
o missing blades on rear AC vent
o AC no workey - compressor I would guess
o alignment on front needed
o missing belly pans
o missing blower, wind shield wiper motor cover
o magic blower
o fog lights flicker on and off (relay I think)
o

More to come I am sure.

Drives great. Body is very good and interior is great other than dash typical cracking.
