Question Will not run [SOLVED]

Before you start telling me where to look, here's what I know so far:

While I was in Denmark, my father drove the '84 928S2 'twin dizzy' to work one day. On the way home, it developed an issue where the engine would shut off and turn back on intermittently while going down the road. Since it finally warmed up, we decided to start the car after four or five months sitting. Turn the key, starts right up as if it hadn't been almost half a year since running last (and buried in snow )

Anyways, I backed it up a little into the driveway, put it in park, and a few seconds later it decides to shut off. NOTE - just the motor shuts off, not all the electrics. After this, it cranks but will not start.

I did some probing - there was no power going to the fuel pump. I checked the harness between the pump and the CE panel thinking maybe a corroded wire, no power. In addition, there was no power going through the fuse on the panel. The relay also doesn't appear to be functioning as well. I tried switching relays with a new spare one I had, but did not see a change. Also switched with other functioning ones on the board just in case and still nothing.

So that's what I know. It seems like something simple like a loose connection, but everything I have looked at hasn't turned up anything. Really hoping one of you have an idea where I should look next.
And as always, Thanks!

CPS? When mine died, the symptoms were intermittent stall as if the key were turned off, then it would restart and run fine after a few minutes. Then one day, it would not start. Does the tach needle jump when cranking?

Try battery connections. The fuel pump on my car is powered through a dedicated LH/FP feeder wire connected to the battery positive terminal. Hopefully it's easy stuff.

In case anybody doesn't already know, the wiring diagrams for the '84 are an exercise in obfuscation. (!!)

Check for spark first..... fuel pump won't run until ignition is working OK.

The nut on the feeder wire was loose... knew it was something simple! Thanks, Dr. Bob!
Now she purrs like a kitten, just like I remember!

Excellent, does this mean we get more pictures of your rolling resto? I'm especially interested in the bodywork stuff as that doesn't really get much press these days
