Thumbs up MAF

I recently posted about the problem with my car idling fine but cutting out under acceleration. Many of you predicted that it was the MAF and that turned out to be the case. Dave of 928 Specialists was kind enough to send me a used MAF to try out and the car ran perfect with that installed. Thanks to everyone who has send tips and advise, particularly to Tarek who also offered to send me a MAF from his car as well.
I will be ordering a new MAF and a few other things this week, so this weekend I will be on the road again!

Hi Sias,
I din't respond when you had your problem, as I didn't have a MAF in stock in the US at that time.

I do now and have increased my stock level............ I am always willing to "lend" a MAF on sale or exchange to help with fault finding.

My price is competitive !

Regards,

Sias,

Thanks for the note... I'm sure you would've done the same for others.....and it's always great news when the story ends with the shark back on the road
