Default Picked up a '78 Euro 5spd 928 this week - new to forum

I'm relatively new to the forum, have been lurking around gathering information knowing that I would be picking up a 928 in the near/far future. Knew I wanted an OB 5 speed car with pasha due to the clean lines and that '70's vibe. Finally pulled the trigger on a running, driving car sight unseen, went on a 11 hour road trip to pick up. Liked what I found! Silver 5 speed car with black/blue Pasha, no sunroof, 88000 miles. Serial #928810189...I think this makes it a relatively early car. Never hit, original down to the radio (and unfortunately aluminum ball joints). Everyting is there except a few tools, no manuals/maintenance papers available. Most everything works except the HVAC is inop. Large crack center of pod, dash a couplpe small cracks.Rear console and Front seats shot unfortunately, rear seats in good shape.. All carpet ok but entire interior moldy and needs to be glued down - I imagine I'm going to start with complete fluid change and ball joint change, and get it on the road...come fall tear out interior and re-glue, hunt down HVAC issues, get inerior done over winter - any other suggestions? Car is a true ten footer as far as paint - was repainted but flaking off doors in spots due to poor prep...

Welcome, another pasche saved! It looks like green pascha. Is that so? Where are you located?

Its very early as it was done already in late spring 1977. Have you checked engine and gearbox number if they are original?

If you look at the edges of the seat you can see the original pascha colors. The black tends to fade to an olive green, and the blue fades to gray.

welcome and congrats on the car. I too have a 78 (US version) with pascha. Love it. You are close - come to Hershey in April for the swap meet.

Ed - actually your car got me started on the quest for a pasha OB...looking through the old 928 registry...guess I was four years too late...Then the hemmings article - beautiful car...I'm sure you have heard it before - "If you ever want to sell let me know"...I'm trying to get to Hershey but the bastards put it at the same week as my kids spring break week - (I'm going to the Beach in NC for the week with the family) -but I may have to come home a diferent route through Hershey and say "wow, what's going on here, honey?"
