Chuck,

If you still need a ride give me a call. I want to see the car in person. The pics look great.

Well I just got home from picking up the SilverBulit from Seans...

She ran like a Top!!!

It's a good 40 miles back from Seans and she was rock solid!
I forgot how much fun that little car was to drive. I always had a "stumbling" problem when I got into it, but it's cured now. The Fuel Dist rebuild seems to have cured that, it raps up nice and smooth now.

Just such a different feel from the GTS. Bone stock, it's quiet, smooth, and tight. Still just shy of 66,000 miles on her and smells the same way it did last time I drove it. I will say that the tires need to be changed big time. Vibration at 60 was noticeable for sure, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I really didn't want to push it as the flat spots are literally 5 years in the making.

Thx to my brother Jimmy for lighting a fire under my *** and saying F-it, we need to get this **** running! He called Sean and the wheels were set in motion.

Thx to Sean for doing a great job getting her on the road so quick!!

I just sent him a text and said, Why didn't we do this sooner??!!!

Next week I'm going to clean her up and yes Jarrod, I'll put a little VRT on those flat spotted tires!!

To Jim, John Curry, Roger, Kohler, Sean, Brad, and other folks that have given me S@@T about getting her running over the last 5 years, thx for staying on me. I spent 14 years working my *** off on that car and it never ran as good as Sean got it running in one week.
WTF??

I'll post pics next weekend when I get her cleaned up. Not sure if y'all can tell, but yeah, I'm just a little excited..

Went and got new registration and plates for her yesterday, so she's all "legal" now. Weather was beautiful and I got her out for a nice drive. The more I drive her the better she runs.
Sat for a week after I got her back from Sean's and she fired right up on the first crank.

Was going to clean her up, but the forecast looks like rain most of the weekend.

New tires going on in a few weeks and that should keep her road worthy.

Really enjoying the car again, I think the Charlie car might start getting neglected...

^^ that's what the Bullet did to Chuck. Did NOT want to be in storage. Hell, C says it blew a fuel line on the way to the storage unit the first time years ago.

I did drive the Charlie Car this morn, so it's still getting love!

Don't worry, they'll both get plenty of miles on them..

I will say that it's been a while since I've driven them back to back.
The Bullit is more fun around town at lower speeds..
The Charlie Car keeps pulling like a freight train on the highway...

Yes I'm loving having 2 again.

Chuck - Glad to hear the Bullet is roadworthy again. Let me know if you want some help detailing. As you know, a Griot's Orbital makes all the difference!

Chuck, glad you got her going again. Those fuel distributors definitely don't like to sit.

Sean, I didn't know you (or anyone) could rebuild a fuel distributor. Where were you 10+ years ago when I had my 81 Euro 5 speed? Good job!

Weather was great this afternoon, so I spent some time w the Car.
Gave her the first bath she's had in 5 years. Cleaned up inside and out.
Shot a few pics....
