Hey Chucky, did you know your block plugs were finger tight? Glad you aren't taking it to Jiffy Lube anymore.

That car looks great , I really like the color combos.
notice the White tires they do look old my 84 Euro had 10 YO white tires they were like wood and had virtually no grip when cold.

It was amazing to see how much smoke could made with a brake check lockup

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the interior color called? Cork? it is my favorite. Which years was it available?

Love the SilverBulit! Chuck's work on this car was very inspiring to me.

Wasn't aware it was in hiding for so long. Glad to read it'll be back on the road again in no time.

I do believe it is Cork, I'm sure Chuck will tell us when he checks in today. Had a couple people comment on it yesterday saying the same thing. He might not get the car back from me.

Appreciate the kind words and encouragement on the car.
Y'all are correct on the interior color, it is cork which was a popular color in 79 and available i think available on just about every exterior color that year.
exterior on the SilverBulit is code 936 Silver metallic if i remember correctly.

Talked to Sean earlier today and she is running, idling smooth, although sounds like runs like crap if you get into the gas. He's pretty good w CIS so I'm sore it's just a matter of time before its running good!

Funny, I've virtually put her on the back burner for 5 years. Sent a buddy of mine at work a few pics and he said he didn't even know I had it. Sent a ton of other pics to him and started realizing all the work I did on her from 1995-2009.

Tom and Adam, you are correct, we did the S4 front brake upgrade at Mo's shop back at OCIC 2004. Did the rear S4 brake upgrade the following fall.

Getting Excited to reconnect w her soon. I'm making a commitment to not let her sleep that long again!!

Forgot to take more pictures and give an update but the car is ready to go home. Runs like a top and passed the state inspections (love great working relationships with inspection stations). Put about 40 miles on her today and passed every test I could put on it. Hell, even the tires don't appear to be flat spotted bad. I'm impressed. This on is a keeper for sure.

My hands are twitchy from feeling the need to spray Griot's VRT on those tires!
